Fuel prices will remain unchanged in August under the monthly fuel price revision, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) announced on Friday.
CPC Chairman D.J. Rajakaruna confirmed the decision during a special media briefing, saying no price revisions will be made for the month.
The decision means motorists and businesses will continue to pay the current prices introduced during the previous revision.
Last month, CPC reduced the price of Petrol Octane 92 by Rs. 12 to Rs. 414 per litre, while Auto Diesel fell by Rs. 15 to Rs. 382 per litre. Prices of all other fuel types remained unchanged.
With no further adjustments announced for August, those prices will continue until the next monthly fuel price review.
