ICC perspective
Welcoming Marriott Bonvoy as a partner, Jay Shah, Chairman of the ICC, said the partnership aligns with the organisation’s ambition to redefine how fans experience cricket.
He said combining the global reach of cricket with Marriott’s portfolio of destinations creates a strong platform that links sport with memorable travel. He also noted that the partnership reflects the ICC’s strategy of working with global brands that deliver tangible value beyond sponsorship visibility.
Adding to this, Sanjog Gupta, CEO of the ICC, said the organisation aims to elevate the full experience around its major events. He said while on-field action remains central, travel, hospitality, and cultural experiences also shape fan satisfaction.
