DFCC Offers 10-Year Toyota Leasing with Up to 50% Residual Value

DFCC Offers 10-Year Toyota Leasing with Up to 50% Residual Value

DFCC Bank, in partnership with Toyota Lanka, has introduced Sri Lanka’s first 10-year leasing facility for brand-new Toyota passenger vehicles. The facility also offers residual value options of up to 50%.

The new leasing option gives eligible customers more flexibility when managing their monthly vehicle payments. Depending on the interest rate, lease period and residual value selected, the monthly rental can be about 20% lower than a five-year lease.

DFCC Bank and Toyota Lanka formalised the new leasing option through a Memorandum of Understanding.

How the new Toyota leasing facility works?

The facility combines a longer lease period with a residual value option. The Bank calculates the residual value against the amount financed. The customer must pay this amount at the end of the initial lease.

Customers who do not want to pay this amount as a lump sum at maturity can apply for a fresh five-year lease facility.

However, the second lease is not automatic. The Bank will carry out a separate credit evaluation. The customer must also receive approval. The lending terms that apply at that time will also govern the new facility.

The new leasing option targets salaried professionals, self-employed individuals, SME owners and business owners. It is for customers who want to buy a brand-new Toyota passenger vehicle for personal or everyday travel.

The Bank must first validate each customer’s eligibility. For eligible customers, the lower monthly payment may help them manage vehicle financing alongside their other household and business costs.

Commenting on the partnership, Thimal Perera, Director and Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Bank, said, “Customers need financing that considers both what they can afford each month and how they will meet the amount due at maturity. By combining a longer tenure with residual value options and a further financing pathway, we are giving them greater flexibility to plan both. It reflects our commitment to developing practical solutions around the way customers manage their finances.”

Toyota support continues after the purchase

Manohara Atukorala, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Lanka, said, “Our partnership with DFCC Bank gives customers a more flexible way to plan the purchase of a brand-new Toyota. It combines practical financing with our island-wide network, comprehensive after-sales care and dependable service support, we are committed to delivering a rewarding ownership experience and helping customers approach their journey with Toyota with greater confidence.”

The new leasing option builds on the relationship between DFCC Bank and Toyota Lanka. DFCC Bank brings its leasing capabilities to the partnership. Toyota Lanka serves as the authorised distributor for Toyota vehicles in Sri Lanka.

Customers will also have access to genuine parts and after-sales support through Toyota Lanka. These services remain important when maintaining vehicle quality, reliability and long-term value.

Through this partnership, DFCC Bank continues to develop leasing options around changing customer financial needs. At the same time, the Bank and Toyota Lanka aim to make brand-new vehicle ownership more accessible to eligible buyers.
