Vijitha Herath has held talks with Milton Dick during his official visit to Australia.
According to Herath, discussions focused on strengthening parliamentary relations between Sri Lanka and Australia and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting took place as part of the minister’s ongoing visit to Australia and New Zealand.
In a post on X, Herath also said he observed Question Time in the Australian House of Representatives.
He described the session as an example of parliamentary accountability and debate, and noted similarities between the parliamentary traditions of the two countries.
