The Colombo Stock Exchange has renewed its partnership with CFA Society Sri Lanka as Platinum Partner for the ninth consecutive year.
The partnership was renewed during a ceremony held following the ringing of the CSE’s market opening bell to mark the 25th anniversary of CFA Society Sri Lanka.
Under the agreement, the CSE will support several CFA Society Sri Lanka initiatives scheduled for 2026, including the Capital Market Awards, the CFA Charter Awards Ceremony and Annual Oration, and the local stage of the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
The Capital Market Awards will recognise achievements in the local capital market, while the Charter Awards Ceremony will honour newly qualified CFA charter-holders. The CFA Institute Research Challenge will complete its 20th consecutive edition this year.
CFA Society Sri Lanka also plans to conduct seminars and training programmes for charter-holders, investors and corporate participants throughout the year.
According to the two organisations, the partnership is aimed at supporting financial literacy, professional development and ethical standards within the investment and financial services sector.
