Rockland Distilleries has appointed Tharindra Kulasinghe to its Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, as the company strengthens its focus on technology, digital systems, and long-term business growth.
The appointment comes as Rockland Group increases emphasis on agility, adaptability, and technology-led decision-making in response to changing business and market conditions.
According to the company, the move reflects Rockland’s strategy to combine its long-standing family leadership with independent expertise in digital infrastructure, analytics, and innovation.
Focus on Technology and Digital Growth
Kulasinghe brings more than 16 years of experience across manufacturing, supply chain management, financial services, and capital markets.
He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer of Capital Alliance Limited, where he leads projects related to digital banking, cybersecurity, and analytics.
He will continue in that role alongside his new position at Rockland.
The company says his appointment supports the next phase of Rockland’s business transformation and operational modernization.

The company is known for products including Colombo No.7 Gin and Ceylon Arrack.
