LP Gas Supply Expected to Return to Normal

LP Gas Supply Expected to Return to Normal

LP gas cylinder distribution across the country is expected to return to normal from this evening, October 19, according to Litro Gas Lanka Limited.

Litro Gas Lanka said the FRANCOIS vessel has arrived carrying 3,900 metric tons of LP gas. Arrangements are now underway to unload the cargo.

More Gas to Reach the Market

Litro Gas Lanka said regular gas supplies arriving in the country will allow the company to speed up distribution.

As a result, the company expects to maintain a continuous and normal supply of LP gas to the market.

For households waiting to buy domestic gas cylinders, improved distribution is expected from this evening.

350,000 Cylinders Already Released

Litro Gas Lanka said it released 350,000 domestic gas cylinders to the market between October 16 and 18.

The latest shipment is expected to support further distribution as the company works to restore normal supply across the country.

Litro Gas Lanka has not announced any change to LP gas prices in the statement.
