Indra Traders (Pvt) Ltd has opened a new FOTON Service Center in Ja-Ela as the number of FOTON commercial vehicles operating in the country grows. The new facility provides dedicated FOTON servicing, repairs, diagnostics, genuine spare parts and technical support for commercial vehicle operators.
Indra Traders is the sole agent for FOTON in Sri Lanka and is currently supplying 114 FOTON Metro buses for the country’s public transport sector. The company said the Ja-Ela centre is intended to bring after-sales support closer to FOTON customers and help reduce unnecessary vehicle downtime.
New Centre Adds FOTON After-Sales Support
The Ja-Ela facility provides scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance, along with repairs and diagnostics. Customers can also access genuine FOTON spare parts and technical support from trained FOTON technicians.
For businesses that depend on their vehicles every day, vehicle downtime can affect productivity and income. The new service centre adds support capacity for FOTON operators as the vehicle fleet expands.
The facility will provide after-sales support for FOTON buses, trucks, vans and double cabs.

The opening of the Ja-Ela service centre also marks another development in the long-standing relationship between Indra Traders and FOTON, which began in 2006, according to the company. Over nearly two decades, the partnership has developed alongside the changing needs of the commercial vehicle market. Indra Traders has supplied FOTON vehicles to local operators while also providing parts, servicing and technical support.
