People using Anamaduwa Base Hospital can expect better facilities after a Rs.50 million project began to renovate four ward buildings on October 11.
The project aims to improve hospital facilities and support better healthcare services for people in Anamaduwa and nearby areas. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is funding the project. Renovation work will cover all four ward buildings at the hospital.
Four Wards to Get New Facilities
Work on the four wards should finish within six months. The project will improve the hospital’s buildings and maintenance standards. It also aims to help the hospital provide a better service to patients and the local community.
For people in Anamaduwa and surrounding areas, the work could improve the facilities available when they need treatment at their local base hospital.
