The rapid growth of digital assets is increasingly being reflected in mainstream finance and business rankings, with Binance securing a place in Fortune’s inaugural Crypto 100 list.
The recognition places the company among the most influential players shaping the future of digital finance, as cryptocurrency adoption expands among retail users, institutions, and traditional financial firms.
Binance was ranked in the Centralized Finance (CeFi) category of the Fortune Crypto 100, a list compiled by Fortune’s editorial team to recognise leading companies across the digital asset industry.
Recognition Comes as User Base Continues to Grow
The company said the recognition reflects nearly nine years of growth and expansion in global digital asset markets.
Today, Binance serves more than 320 million registered users across more than 100 countries.
In 2025 alone, the platform processed approximately $34 trillion in trading volume, bringing its cumulative trading volume to $145 trillion.
Richard Teng, Co-CEO of Binance, said the recognition reflects the company’s long-term focus on accessibility and trust.
“This recognition by Fortune reflects what we have been building for the past nine years: an open, accessible, and trustworthy platform for people everywhere to participate in the digital economy,” said Richard Teng, Co-CEO of Binance.
“It also affirms Binance’s role not just as the largest exchange by volume, but as one of the defining forces shaping how the world interacts with digital assets today. Being part of this inaugural list is meaningful, but what matters most to us is the trust that more than 320 million users place in Binance every day.”

Expansion Beyond Traditional Crypto Trading
The recognition comes as Binance continues expanding its offerings beyond traditional cryptocurrency trading.
The company is positioning itself as a broader financial platform by introducing new investment products and alternative asset offerings.
According to Binance, its stock trading product exceeded $400 million in assets under management within its first week of launch.
Meanwhile, pre-IPO perpetual contracts linked to SpaceX generated more than $2.1 billion in cumulative trading volume within 18 days.
Yi He, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Binance, said the company’s focus remains on improving access to financial services.
“We have always believed that crypto’s purpose is larger than markets alone. It is about building infrastructure that gives everyone – regardless of where they are born or how much they have – more equal access to the global financial system,” said Yi He.
“That mission must be built on trust. In CeFi, trust comes from strong user protections, robust security, and the confidence that user assets are backed 1:1.”
The Fortune Crypto 100 covers ten segments of the digital asset industry, including digital asset trading, traditional finance, decentralised finance, venture capital, stablecoins and mining.
The latest recognition follows Yi He’s inclusion in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business list in May 2026, making her the first crypto-native executive to appear in the ranking’s 29-year history.
