FitsAir resumes first flight to Dubai after airspace reopens

FitsAir has restarted flights to the Middle East.

Airport officials confirmed that FitsAir flight 8D 821 left for Dubai at 1:20 p.m. The aircraft carried 47 passengers and 10 crew members.

Authorities say airlines are operating flights within a limited time window. During this period, parts of Middle Eastern airspace have reopened for aviation activity.

Carriers are using this opportunity to restore key routes while conditions allow.

Airport sources say more services to Middle Eastern destinations may resume in the coming days if airspace access remains available.

Later in the afternoon, Air Arabia flight G9 509 also departed for Sharjah. The aircraft left at 4:45 p.m. with 44 passengers and 10 crew members.

These departures mark the first step toward restoring regular flight operations after the recent aviation disruptions.
