The Central Bank reported that the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 55.5 in November 2025. All sub-indices contributed positively, reflecting broad-based improvement across manufacturing activities.
The Bank said firms expect manufacturing activity to remain strong over the next three months. Anticipated seasonal demand is likely to support production, even as recent adverse weather conditions created short-term disruptions.
Meanwhile, the Services Purchasing Managers’ Index recorded 50.5 in November. This indicates continued expansion, although at a slower pace compared to the previous month.
New business activity increased during the month, driven mainly by stronger demand for financial services. Wholesale and retail trade activity also improved, supporting overall services sector performance.
Employment continued to expand as firms hired staff to meet seasonal operational requirements. Backlogs of work also increased, reversing a three-month decline, according to the Central Bank.
