Litro Gas Taking Steps to Normalise Supply by Releasing 350,000 Cylinders in Three Days

Litro Gas Taking Steps to Normalise Supply by Releasing 350,000 Cylinders in Three Days

Litro Gas Lanka Limited is taking steps to keep gas supplies moving, with 350,000 cylinders scheduled to be released to the market over the next three days.

The company said the move follows the arrival of the vessel CORINTHIAN, which brought 3,900 metric tonnes of LPG to the country on October 22.

Unloading began last evening, allowing Litro Gas to prepare the new stock for distribution across the island.

For consumers, this means more cylinders will reach the market in the coming days as the company works to maintain a steady supply.

More Gas Cylinders Coming to the Market

Litro Gas said LPG distribution will continue across the island without interruption following the arrival of the shipment.

Consumers will therefore be able to purchase gas cylinders through the usual distribution network as fresh stocks reach the market.

The additional 350,000 cylinders will support the company’s efforts to keep supplies available and move distribution towards normal levels.

Litro Asks Consumers to Avoid Hoarding

With more gas entering the market, Litro Gas has asked consumers to avoid unnecessary panic buying and storing extra cylinders.

The company expects regular distribution to continue, allowing households to purchase gas as they normally would.

For consumers, the latest shipment brings additional supply into the market while Litro Gas continues its efforts to maintain availability across the island.
