Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed the appointment of Sanath Jayasuriya as the head coach of the national team.
- The decision, made by the SLC Executive Committee, follows the team’s strong performances under Jayasuriya’s guidance as interim head coach during recent tours against India, England, and New Zealand.
The appointment took effect on October 1, 2024, and will continue until March 31, 2026, SLC announced.
