President has appointed Mr. Duminda Hulangamuwa and Dr. A.A.J. Fernando as Senior Consultants in Economic Affairs and Finance, effective from September 24, 2024.
The appointments, made in consultation with the Cabinet of Ministers under Article 41 (1) of the Constitution, are honorary roles aimed at strengthening the administration’s economic and financial strategies.
The newly appointed consultants will leverage their expertise to provide strategic guidance on key economic matters, reflecting the government’s focus on bolstering economic management and fiscal policy.
