The Registrar General’s Department has launched an Online Authentication Portal for Birth, Marriage, and Death certificates at the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Announcing the launch, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry highlighted that the new system follows the successful introduction of online appointments to alleviate overcrowding and queues for services.
Minister Sabry stated that currently, 50-55% of documents can be certified online and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fully transitioning to online certification, enhancing convenience for the public.
