- At Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 295.00, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 304 to Rs. 302.50. Similarly,
- NDB Bank reported a reduction in the buying rate from Rs. 296.00 to Rs. 295.10 and the selling rate from Rs. 304.00 to Rs. 303.10.
- Peoples Bank has also seen a decline in rates, with the buying rate falling from Rs. 294.73 to Rs. 293.65 and the selling rate from Rs. 305.31 to Rs. 304.19. Commercial Bank noted a reduction in the buying rate from Rs. 294.14 to Rs. 293.20 and a decrease in the selling rate from Rs. 304.00 to Rs. 303.00.
- Sampath Bank reported a decrease in the buying rate from Rs. 295.50 to Rs. 294.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 304.50 to Rs. 303.50.
This trend reflects a modest strengthening of the Sri Lankan Rupee, providing some relief amidst recent economic challenges.
