Entrepreneur and ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ presidential candidate, Dilith Jayaweera, launched his “National Strategic Plan Towards A Happy Nation” today in Colombo, marking the release of his election manifesto. The unveiling ceremony took place at the Monarch Imperial Hotel in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, positioning this strategic plan as a significant development in the country’s political landscape.
Recognized as “Sri Lanka’s first Presidential Election Strategic Plan shaped by public opinion,” this initiative reflects a historic effort to involve citizen perspectives in national policymaking. Earlier, on August 21, the second draft of the plan was presented to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), highlighting Jayaweera’s focus on engaging key stakeholders in the economic and business sectors.
This launch sets the stage for a new approach to governance aimed at fostering a “happy nation.”
